Riding a wave is one of the best feelings in the world! And there’s no better place to learn it than at our surf school, Your Surf Experience, with qualified English speaking instructors, guides, and fun people to share the experience with.
Our team will pick you up from your accommodation in Marbella for a day of surf lessons, authentic Spanish gastronomy and great vibes, a 2 hour drive away in the west coast of Andalucia.
La Costa de la Luz is one of the best places on Earth to learn to surf because of the 300+ days of sunny skies, light winds and soft Atlantic waves on beautiful sandy beaches, which together form the perfect concoction for excellent surfing conditions for beginners.
Our surf programme will focus on teaching you the art of surfing a wave safely and in a fun way. Each instructor will have no more than 4 students in their group, facilitating faster learning thanks to more personal interaction.

What an experience! The perfect lawn, the sound of waves and the sun setting, along with a fantastic yoga teacher made me realize I wanted to move to this part of the world permanently!
Just when I thought the day couldn’t have been more perfect, we had dinner in the most picturesque restaurant, and again the food! Such a high standard! We drank wine and then a cocktail and just talked and met really nice people to really send us back to Marbella with a smile on our faces!

After the 2 hour surf lesson we had a beer on the beach and to be honest I was so glad to be taken to our table for lunch because I was starving! Now, I’m a foodie, we all are, and to be served food of this quality literally steps away from the beach was such a pleasant surprise!
KellyMy friends and I went on a hen-do to Banus for a long weekend and we pre-booked the surf excursion weeks before. As soon as we booked we received confirmation by email and the attention we got to make the day tailored for us was simply amazing.
The surf guide John made sure we got the right boards and wetsuits, the right food, (as some of us are vegan) and he really put so much attention to detail, it made our surf excursion a memorable one. He spoke perfect English and introduced us to the surf instructors who, although were Spanish, all spoke decent English. They all had a great sense of humour and we were laughing throughout the lesson (maybe had I paid more attention I would have done better at the surfing part!).
LizMy mates and I had been in Marbella for 5 days and even though we love the pool parties and clubbing, we got tired of going out there by the 3rd day.
When we saw this advertised in Viator we thought it would be alright. None of us had surfed before (we were 6 rugby guys from Leeds), and thought well why not? And what can I say - it was just champion. We are all big guys but still managed to stand on the big boards and I must say we were as surprised as each other at how much fun it was. We were well chuffed with the whole experience.
It was something new for all of us, to be so relaxed and then have some laughs over some beers over the most terrific sunset I’ve ever seen was something else. We were all jiggered when we got back to Marbs that night so we left the clubbing for the night after!
AdamI went for an all inclusive surf excursion with Your Surf Experience and I LOVED it.
Everybody is just so kind, the food is delicious (probably the best seafood I’ve ever had) and you just want to be able to take pictures of everything - the sea, the landscape, the dishes, the surfboards, but most of all that sunset!
If you want to meet nice people, learn how to surf with cool teachers who speak english and guides who are british, just go there.

The whole vibe there is just so awesome, everyone had an amazing time! Oh and in the end we didn’t have to take pictures because there already was a photographer included in the price!
